Dustin joined the Lencioni team in 2013 after moving from Colorado to Soquel, CA bringing with him his knowledge of green building through his Build it Green professional certification he earned in 2008 and his class B general contractors license he earned in 2010. He loves the “start to finish” build that is done at Lencioni Construction and is proud of “craftsmanship comes first” attitude. Working through the structural stage to achieve the desired design/finish the clients’ want and making it all function seamlessly is a constant challenge but extremely gratifying. He enjoys all aspects of construction from a clean framing job, to detailed paneling and moldings, to unique projects like a glass bridge that he built in one of Lencioni’s homes. He loves the day-to-day challenges that continually improve his drawing details, allow him to give more input in the field and the special one-off projects, fixing design problems and thinking outside of the box to achieve clients’ visions for their perfect home. When not on the job he enjoys outdoor family time with his wife and 2 young daughters discovering new trails, creek walks and beach trips. Spending time together on their property gives him a creative outlet he enjoys.
